TODAY'S POST - DIVORCED PARENTS (SPEECH)

firstly

i want to apologize to mr tan for the late hw

i have a neck for forgetting abt all kinds of hw

so plz dun hold it against me

here goes...

In today's world

the divorce rate from country to country is steadily rising

and this is a threat to Singapore

and to the world.

Why do i say this?

Parents who already have children have to think thoroughly,

carefully,

more importantly

selflessly,

about what they are doing.

Divorce is a major thing,

one that does not affect only the divorced,

but at the same time,

the innocent bystanding

CHILDREN.

They hate to see their dad and mum fight,

hate to see them apart,

but all they can do when these happenings occur

is watch...

HELPLESSNESS

DENILE

SADNESS

EMOTIONAL CRISIS

all the results of DIVORCES.

not for the parents...but for the poor children

I do not want to ask for much,

but all i wish for the world is

for the better of the younger and more fragile

generations.

What divorces can do to them is hard to watch,

they rebel,

they go into denile,

not knowing what really is happening,

why their parents are falling apart,

in more extreme cases

they may jump to conclusions

and think that their parents do not want them anymore.

What i mean is just put youself in their shoes,

how would u feel,

if ur parents fought often,

right infront of

YOU

and u can do NOTHING about it

will u feel BAD?

feel CONFUSED?

feel STRESSED?

feel like doing something to vent ur ANGST?

i know i would

but thankfully i dont have such a problem.

All i hope is all the children, teens, so on

in the world can be as lucky as me

to have a wholesome family

not having to even bat an eye at the possible danger of divorces

so please, i ask of everyone around

do it for YOURSELF

do it for UR CHILDREN

enforce not divorces

but keep a tolerant nature

and let everyone around live
